Payment methods
Users can create payment methods attached to payment gateways for each market in an organization. In this section, you will learn about payment methods and how to provision payment source type options offered in a market.
What is a payment method?
Payment methods are the type of payment sources that can be offered in a market and/or in a store. They allow users to provide different payment options to customers. The payment methods can have a price charge and must be present before a customer places an order.
A payment method will be associated with a payment gateway. The payment source type used with a payment method must be related to the parent payment gateway. Users can differentiate the available payment method options by market. Available payment source types include Adyen, Braintree, credit card, external payment, Paypal, Stripe, Klarna, and wire transfer.
