Shipping carriers
Carrier accounts allow users to get shipping rate options, purchase, and print shipping labels in one click for customer orders. In this section, you will learn about shipping carriers and how to provide real-time tracking updates to your customers.
What is a shipping carrier?
Shipping carriers carry a parcel from a stock location to the customer's address. Users will get shipping rate options and select the one best for the shipment. Users will also be able to assign shipping labels and tracking numbers to orders before shipment.
Users can connect more than one carrier to the same market to get more shipping rate options and choose the best one for each shipment. Commerce Layer currently supports the following carriers: USPS, DHL, UPS, DPD, FedEx, Amazon Services, Asendia, Aramex, amongst others.
